Solidarity to Cameroon
The project of cooperation for development,
promoted by the Ngo’s Gespa and Progetto Sviluppo Abruzzo, has
the goal to face the emergencies in the village of Bati, west Cameroon:
water wells, education, health. In the movie, the images of the works
realized in 2005 and the feasibility visit in 2006, together with the
people of Bati, their colours and their culture.
In spring 2007, within the project of cooperation
for development Solidarity to Bati, the friendship between Chieti and
Bati grows with the signature of an official town twinning agreement.
It has been an opportunity to exchange official delegation’s
visits between the two local authorities.
The images and the interviews, shot during the
visit of the Italian delegation in Cameroon, inform about the project
of cooperation for development that Ngo Gespa is realizing in Bati.
In the movie, the amazing welcome to the village, the monitoring visits
of the water wells realized, the health status in the village and the
new maternity clinic, the building of 3 new classrooms of the high
school of Bati, the C.e.s.
